10 Words to Tell About Me!

10. I have a huge problem: EXCLAMATION MARKS!!!!!!! This post says it all. I totally overuse them, but it seems like they are always necessary!!!!!!!

9. I am an ORGANIZATION freak. I am crazy about keeping my home, classroom, and life organized. My husband, daughter, and everyone else in my life think I am crazy. But, I love it!

8. I have a major, major, major addiction to TARGET! I look for any excuse to go! No matter how many times I go in a week, I still manage to find something I need (or think I need!).

7.  I love my IPHONE!!!! It can do anything! Anything!!! My iphone is always at my side, like a best friend!

6. I always have MUSIC playing no matter where I am or what I am doing. Right now I am listening to She & Him (a family favorite).

5.  I'm a total WINE lover. My husband and I go wine tasting every chance we get. We love trying new things. However, we are by no means "wine snobs". We like what we like!

4. BLOGGING has become an obsession. One day in May I was looking for some teaching resources and my sister suggested that I check out TBA! I was so impressed by all the wonderful blogs I found, and thought, "Hey, I can do this!" Next thing I knew I had one of my own and was a TBA author. Now I am hooked! I love blogging, but more than anything else, I love blog hopping and stalking.

3. I {heart} BOOKS!!! I can't stop reading. I took on Donalyn Miller's Book-a-Day Challenge, and I am so proud of myself for sticking to it! 22 book in 22 days, Woo Hoo!

2. TEACHING is such a huge part of my life. Each year I get to share my love of education with 30 new kiddos. What a great way to make a living!

1. My FAMILY comes first, ALWAYS!!! I have the most amazing and supportive husband who spoils me rotten. I also have two beautiful and lovable daughters: Bella (8 years old) and Sofia (4 months old-- already a wild child). I love them all so much!

  1. I understand your love of exclamation points! Twice in college I had points docked from projects/assignments for overuse of exclamation points. I find this to be sad... why can't I be excited about life?? :)

    I did not take on the challenge--wish that I had, but I probably have met the challenge anyway. I read all of the time. I see you read Ruby Holler. It has been a couple of years, but I remember that I loved this book.
    What about Things Hoped For? I enjoy Andrew Clements, but this book looks different than his other titles. What do you think?

  6. Hi Jennifer... Things Hoped For is the sequel to Things Not Seen. I really enjoyed both of them! They are pretty different and more mature than his other books though. I guess a new one came out too: Things That Are.
