Interactive Reader's Response Notebook

Now that summer is finally here, I have the chance to look back and reflect on my school year. There are many things that went really well, and there are always things that I would still like to perfect. One success of the school year was using Interactive Notebooks in reading and math. I loved using them to introduce, reinforce, and practice new concepts and skills. In reading, I would have liked for my students to have a place in their notebooks to respond to novels we read in class. So, for next year, I created an Interactive Reader's Response Notebook...
I plan to continue using other reading notebook pages to introduce the skills and strategies outlined in the Common Core Standards. Then, to practice and reinforce these strategies and skills, I plan to use response pages with novels that we read in class. The following cover page will be used at the start of each new novel that we read....
Here is a sample of response pages that I plan to use....

I also created a book review page to close out each novel....

I can't wait to get started "notebooking" again next year. Visit my TpT page for more info.

For the next 2 days, this new product will be 20% off!!!

Happy Notebooking!!!
